To answer this question we must first define zombies and vampires, since there are so many diffirent interpretations. I decided to use the types I know the best

For the Zombies I'm using the kind describied by Max Brooks in his book, The Zombie Survival guide, which is awesome, go read it now. These zombies are basically slow and stupid, but reach incredible numbers under the right circumstances, and if you get bitten or scratched, your completely fucked and will become a zombie aswell.

The best case scenerio in this situation for me is that somehow I'd become super tough like alice in resident evil (another sextastic movie) and that me and a group of civilians would build a sort of fortress in the mountains.

Now, what would be the most likely situation is that me and my family would flee upstairs, knock out the stairs, and everyone would rely on my zombie knowledge, then we would realize that we have absolutly no supplies and then we would either starve to death, try to get supplies and get eaten, or our pathetic excuse for a fortress would crumble and we would get eaten.

Although a Zombie takeover seems awesome, and I would love to go all machete chop on their ass, I'm pretty much small weak, and perfect zombie food. Sooo yeah. No thanks.

Now, for the Vampires I'm using the type in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, best t.v show ever. The rules for these Vampires are that they can't enter houses without being invited, get burnt by crosses, holy water, and the sun, Limited yes, but they have super strength, super hearing and a hole bunch of other super abilities. This would be pretty awesome.

This would be so easy to survive, as long as the sun didnt go out and the vampires didn't burn down our houses. The worse that could happen would be I'd fuck up and be bitten. Much better then being eaten.

Another thing that could happen would a vampire would decide to turn me, which would tottally kick ass WAY better then being a stupid zombie.
